Information and referral services for families of children with special needs


Families having a special needs child sometimes find themselves alone in trying to navigate their way through a complex system of services. A Parent / Family Specialist is available to provide free guidance to families to help them navigate the maze. A database of special needs resources has been developed and is regularly updated.

The Special Navigator for Special Families Program assists children from birth to age 21 in Mahoning County.
